3 Job Searching Attitudes

Like most students studying in the United States (美国留学), I just wanted to use the OPT to work in the United States after I graduated. After I received lots of rejections, I start to sum up some experiences for future students to prepare for a job hunting in the US (美国找工作)

  1. Be confident

This must be something. From the beginning to the United States, you must believe in yourself. Chinese people are worse in language. When we first studied at the time, we didn’t dare to communicate with others. But looking for a job, we must be bold in speaking. Americans can understand your English, so you need to do it. It is to speak your opinions boldly, and to express yourself and communicate with others is the most important part of your job search! So be confident.

2.      Be Early  Don’t catch up late: The best time to find an internship and work starts in September of each year. Take our finance profession as an example. Top financial companies such as JP morgan, UBS, Bank of America, etc., all started in September. Although it is almost impossible to find an internship or work there (unless you know a CEO or a person there), from there you can feel how to find a job, find your own problems, and constantly correct, constantly Looking for success in failure

  1. Do not be too picky

Remember, the Chinese have no advantage in the United States and there is no advantage at all! What we need to do is apply for all the work we can do it.
